The cake giant has brought out tubs of Cherry Bakewell Mini Cake Bites which are currently selling in Tesco for £3.75 (or £3 with a Clubcard).

Mr Kipling is known for its delicious Cherry Bakewell Tarts, but these Mini Cake Bites have a twist - as they're covered in chocolate.

The Newfoodsuk Facebook page shared the new find to followers, and the post attracted thousands of comments.

A third person had some pretty choice words, saying: ⁘Chocolate on a Bakewell. F*** off with that.⁘

The sweet treat is described as a light almond flavour cake topped with fruity jam and an almond and cherry flavour creme, with a milk chocolate covering.

Meanwhile a classic cherry bakewell has a pastry base with a layer of fruity jam frangipane sponge, soft icing and a cherry on top.

And while some people think you shouldn't touch a classic cherry bakewell, others had much more positive thoughts.
