Paddy Kirk ( Dominic Brunt ) has started a new job in Emmerdale – but currently remains unaware of how close he is to a game-changing secret.

In the aftermath, the comments massively knocked Paddy and on top of this, he was also dealing with a fear of large dogs, which seriously impacted his work at the vets.

Paddy has made progress and recently spent time with Chip the dog. When it comes to his confidence levels though, he's continuing to try and build them up again by helping others through a mental health charity.

Paddy was being a bit coy with Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock) in tonight's episode and didn't want to tell him what he was really planning on doing with his afternoon off.
