Coronation Street viewers saw a worrying twist air in the ITV soap Monday night and fans have been left speculating what Nina and Summer saw that left them so terrified. Nina Lucas and Summer Spellman were both high on LSD when they saw something horrifying and whatever it was that left them screaming and crying, they found it hiding out in Roy Cropper's cafe.

The characters had been seen having a laugh together after taking LSD at a house party but the mood suddenly switched and the girls were suddenly fleeing and shouting around.

Something spooked them and they were left questioning what to do next.

However, Summer told her: ⁘We can't! Listen to me, I don't know what…⁘ before she pointed outside.

In that moment Nina completely broke down, screaming: ⁘Oh God,⁘ repeatedly before bursting into tears.
