Tesco axed its British Whole Milk 3.408L (6 Pints) in 2023, but customers are still questioning its disappearance.
One person, who posted to X, formerly known as Twitter said: ⁘Can I ask @Tesco why you don't sell the six pints of milk anymore…… certainly not home delivery.
A Tesco spokesperson, responding to the post, commented: ⁘Good afternoon, thanks for getting in touch.
A Tesco spokesperson told The Sun: ⁘We phased out six-pint bottles of milk back in 2023 to reduce wastage, as there were higher levels of waste on that product size.⁘
At the time of the axing in 2023, shoppers said: " Tesco has discontinued six-pint bottles so it can milk more money from customers with smaller cartons."
Meanwhile another customer said: "Any idea why six pints of milk never seem available for online orders.
"Our four-pint bottles provide the same great value per pint — especially as we have reduced milk prices twice in recent weeks."
One despairing fan took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to question the disappearance of the cereal.
