David Joshua-Anthony has reportedly quit Hollyoaks just one year after joining the Channel 4 soap.
Despite being involved in several major storylines - including his reunion with his sister and father - The Mirror reported he will be leaving over the next few weeks.
He has also removed any mention of the soap from his Instagram bio and Hollyoaks bosses reportedly confirmed the news of his departure to The Sun.
David is one of many to be leaving the show after producers confirmed a 'cast cull' last year as Channel 4 cut the number of weekly episodes.
The actress, 59, who played the character Sally St. Claire - will reportedly say her goodbyes next week during the show's next 'dramatic' stunt , according to The Sun .
A source told the publication: 'Annie's loved her time on Hollyoaks but the time for Sally being a full-time character is at an end.'
'It's not a defined end and the door has been left firmly open for her for a potential return down the line but when the show jumps forward a year, Sally isn't in the village any longer.'
