EastEnders , which usually airs on a Monday night, will not broadcast as usual on June 24, as BBC bosses instead focus on coverage of the Croatia vs Italy game from 7:30pm, ready for kick off at 8pm.
The soap will air on Tuesday, June 25, and Wednesday, June 26, but BBC One viewers will have to flick over to BBC Two at 7:30pm to watch the latest unfold in Albert Square.
This is because the France v Poland game, which kicks off at 5pm on Tuesday, has pushed the schedule back, while the Ukraine v Belgium game is airing on Wednesday.
Those not wanting to miss out on the action though, can still remain up to date with the latest episodes as BBC will be dropping instalments on iPlayer at 6am each morning from Monday through to Thursday.
They captioned the timetable: "Catch all the drama from The Square, this week on @BBCOne, @BBCTwo and on @BBCiPlayer! # EastEnders ."
Reacting on X, formerly known as Twitter, one viewer wrote: "Thank you for letting us know I wish they had a different channel for football Eastenders is the best soap."
As another added: "Oh that's right Euro 2024." This week on EastEnders will see a theft from Lola's charity fundraiser lead to the introduction of three new Mitchells, Teddy (Roland Manookian), Billy's (Perry Fenwick) secret brother, and his sons Harry (Elijah Holloway) and Barney Mitchell (Lewis Bridgeman).
