Beth's character Ruby, married to Caleb Miligan, has ruffled feathers in the village by mocking their northern accents - a decision made solely by Beth.
Last month, Beth showcased her talent for mimicry when she adopted a fake northern accent in an attempt to reconcile Cain, played by Jeff Hordley, and Caleb, portrayed by William Ash. She demonstrated her convincing Yorkshire accent during a karaoke session where she sang He Ain't Heavy, He's My Brother.
While her co-stars attempted to suppress their laughter, not all were successful. Beth's character Ruby has captivated viewers for months, but the actress insists that her character is vastly different from her off-screen persona, reports the Mirror .

Coronation Street star Lisa George has shared fears she could go blind after being diagnosed with a genetic eye condition. The actress, who has played Beth Sutherland on the ITV soap since 2011 , revealed she has been diagnosed with NAION - non-arteritic anterior ischemic optic neuropathy - which causes sudden vision loss in one eye.
"I always think there are people far worse off than you, and I'm just grateful I can still see but we don't know what could happen in the future," she told the publication.

The tracking app on his phone showed he had been at the scene of the crime when the man who groomed his niece was attacked. When confronted with it he confessed he had been there but merely witnessed the attack.
This then pointed the finger of suspicion on Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard) who had run-ins with Nathan since his return to the area. However, the attacker was ultimately unmasked as Gary Windass (Mikey North) who was forced to confess when confronted on the issue by Sarah.
His huge gesture convinced fans that he and Sarah would be succumbing to passion and starting an affair and they took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share their theory.
Coronation Street's Carla Connor (played by Alison King) is set to be dealt a massive blow as she is devastated by pictures of Peter Barlow ((Chris Gascoyne) on the ITV soap.
Their love story ended sweetly as they had a tearful farewell. Peter hoped they could stay in touch, but Carla thought it was a bad idea and told him they would need to cut off communication for a while or risk ending up back at square one.
But now Carla is set for heartbreak all over again. In upcoming scenes, she has a heart-to-heart with Sarah Platt (Tina O'Brien), and admits she is missing Peter.

While Simon is excited, having been granted an exciting opportunity, Carla is thrown to see one of the images showing Peter with his arm around a woman.
