The truth came out after Marie tried to swipe a bag in The Dog and, once caught, admitted she'd needed the money to pay for a search for Arlo.
Marie explained that Arlo had been kidnapped by his father and that all of her efforts to try to find him have been fruitless.
Cleo was stunned by this latest revelation, especially since Abe had never mentioned anything to her about his younger brother going missing.
