UK Microbusiness Owners Unite To Explore Effective Scaling Strategies

In a recent gathering of UK microbusiness owners, the pursuit of effective scaling took center stage. The inaugural 'Small and Mighty ___' event, hosted by Small Business Britain and Xero at London's Science Museum, brought together hundreds of ambitious entrepreneurs to explore new avenues for growth. This immersive training, mentoring, and networking experience is an extension of their joint scaling programme, which has already supported over 4,000 microbusinesses through its free, six-week Small and Mighty Enterprise Programme. The programme, in partnership with business academics at ARU Peterborough, has been instrumental in providing mentoring and expert-led training to businesses seeking to scale.

Charelle Griffith, marketing trainer and business mentor, and founder of PropelHer, delivered a compelling marketing masterclass at the event. The packed-out gathering featured an array of business experts and high-profile speakers, including Michelle Ovens CBE, CEO and Founder of Small Business Britain, and entrepreneur and Apprentice star Mike Soutar, both advisers to the UK Government's Board of Trade. Topics such as marketing, customer experience, SEO, and PR took precedence, alongside a ___ strategy panel hosted by 'The Money Whisperer' mentor Emma Maslin.
