A 20-year-old fishmonger is making waves at Brierley Hill Market where he's launched a new stall – bringing top-quality, dayboat-fresh British fish back to the market.

Matt Witts, from Gloucester, has launched the new MW Seafoods stall - having always dreamed of having one of his own.

Fishmongering runs deep in Matt's family, with more than 70 years in the business, and he learned the ropes working on his dad's stall.

He said: "Growing up, I always enjoyed working with my dad on his fish stall and always wanted a stall of my own to continue that passion.

"Brierley Hill Market is a great market with all the stalls for the weekly shop, so when we knew they were after a new fishmonger, it was as if it was meant to be."

The return of a fishmonger has brought a fresh wave of excitement to the market and has been warmly welcomed by the local community.
