Dolly became a household name when she joined the ITV soap as the outspoken Rovers barmaid Gemma back in 2014, quickly becoming a fan favourite.
On her Instagram , she posted several photos of her new headshots, looking markedly different from her Corrie character, sporting much shorter, curly hair, reports the Daily Star .
Dolly captioned the post: ⁘Headshots @joeolismith.⁘ Fans and co-stars alike were quick to compliment her in the comments section.
One fan commented: ⁘Gemma needs to go for a haircut and come back as the real you! suits you so well!⁘ Another added: ⁘Love love love your natural hair you look beautiful.⁘
However, not all comments were positive, with some followers leaving ⁘rude⁘ and ⁘unnecessary⁘ remarks, one of which read: ⁘Oh no Dolly this is aging you.⁘
Dolly's supporters quickly hit back though, with one follower stating: ⁘Some people have no filter and are so rude!
