Soap viewers will know that it's been a tough week for Asha (Tanisha Gorey) following a distressing incident during her paramedic shift on Monday (August 25).

Soap watchers were offered a glimpse into the difficulties encountered by NHS frontline workers as Asha and her supervisor, Sienna (Charlotte Tyree) , commenced a 12-hour shift.

Asha has subsequently been left shaken by the experience, which prompted her to seek solace at the Rovers after her brother Aadi's (Adam Hussain) exit.

During Tuesday's (August 26) instalment, an intoxicated Asha finally confided in Lisa Swain (Vicky Myers) about her trauma, with Lisa encouraging the young woman to inform her supervisor about the incident.
