In a shocking twist during tonight's instalment of Emmerdale , her friend Jacob Gallagher (Joe-Warren Plant) offered to be a sperm donor. Sitting down over a cup of coffee, she said: "I don't really know how to feel about your offer."

He repsonded: "It seems like a good solution.

You know what kind of bloke I am and we are good mates. I just want things to be easy for you because everything else you are going through is so hard."

Later on in the episode, Sarah apologised to Jacob for having a standoffish response to his gesture and agreed for him to be her donor. "So what, we are actually going to do this?" Jacob asked, to which Sarah said: "Yes, we actually are."
