Having realised that Frankie is in danger, Darren and Nancy plead with Rex to give them some information. The struggling couple receive a text which reveals her location, but they make a mistake and accidentally trust the wrong police officer with their new intel.

As Donny, Dodger and Rex come together to brainstorm how to rescue the hostages, DI Banks gets busy destroying evidence and getting rid of workers – with the aim to escape with his wife and Victoria that afternoon.

But he doesn't realise that Diane, whose suspicions continue to grow, follows Alistair to the manor house.

Darren comes to Frankie's aid and promises to get her out of this situation, but it appears that this will be easier said than done.

While DI Banks plots his exit, Grace is also on a mission to remove any evidence that she was involved in the exploitation scheme and to get Alistair's associates to take over the operation.

Dillon, Vicky and Robbie explore the basement as they search for an escape, and they bump into Darren and Frankie along the way. But their emotional reunion is interrupted by the arrival of DI Banks' cronies. A fight breaks out between the two sides, and Darren and Robbie step up to attack the enemies. Things go wrong though, and Darren's fate remains up in the air.
