Dawn and Billy's marriage is left in turmoil, as she asks him to move out and dashes any chances of reconciliation. Later on, Dawn and Joe share a kiss, unaware that Clemmie has seen everything.
Clemmie skips school explaining she feels unwell, but Dawn is oblivious to the real problem. Joe tries to check in on Clemmie, but he's left speechless when she says she saw him kissing Dawn.
When he tries to stop her from leaving, she retaliates, biting his arm. Joe attempts to bribe her with a present but he's furious when he sees Clemmie dismantling it.
He threatens she'll be sent to care if Dawn finds out about the bite and forces her to stay quiet. But Clemmie eventually spills all and reveals it to Billy.
