Gina in Emmerdale has sparked huge suspicions that a past character has returned to the soap undetected, after years away.

Viewers are convinced Gina, a secret accomplice of Joe Tate helping him to target Caleb Miligan, could secretly be an old village resident. Not only that but they think she might be using a fake name, and that her real identity will see her DNA link to Joe and Caleb exposed.

After The Mirror teased Gina's mystery arrival over the weekend, with a preview clip showing her targeting Caleb, fans shared their thoughts. In response to the clip we shared, viewers could not wait to tell us their thoughts on who Gina really was - and one theory could be a genius move by the ITV soap.

On Wednesday night the scenes with Gina aired, with her showing up at the depot wanting to speak with owner Caleb about a possible business deal. She soon turned on the charm and she revealed she was keen to work with him.

She claimed other suppliers were not working out, before agreeing to a deal with the depot. Caleb was thrilled but had no idea he was being used.

He's been having dialysis but is running out of time, and he needs a kidney transplant to survive. But instead of asking for help he's paying Crowley a lot of money to help him steal someone's kidney without them being aware.
