April, who vanished over Christmas , is set to be found next week, but the drama escalates as her traumatic experiences during the weeks she was missing are unveiled in a special flashback episode.
With April going missing, especially as she was seen getting into a mystery vehicle, soap watchers had been hoping that the mystery driver could be Scott Windsor and April could have reached out to him. Scott is the brother of April's late mother, Donna Windsor, so this makes him April's uncle.
Ben Freeman, who portrayed Scott and was last seen in Emmerdale in 2007, continues to be a topic of conversation on the show despite his absence, reports Leeds Live .
Although Ben hasn't graced the Emmerdale set since 2007, he made a soap opera comeback in 2021 on EastEnders , playing Caleb Malone for a six-episode stint.
However, despite the hopes of fans for Scott's return, it was disclosed last year that Ben has permanently left the ITV soap after landing a role in Outlander as Corporal Jethro Woodbine. The actor also had roles in The Three Musketeers as Athos in 2023 and Matilda: The Musical in 2022.
Emmerdale airs every weekday at 19.30pm on ITV1, ITV X, STV and STV Player with an hour-long episode on Thursdays. It is also available each morning from 07.00am on ITVX.
