Tonight, we finally learned about what happened to April over the last month or so. April disappeared on Christmas Day and the last time viewers saw her, she jumped in the back of a car and headed away from the village.
It has now been revealed exactly what happened to her over the last month or so. April was picked up by a taxi from the village and headed towards town, hoping she could stay with some of her friends she had met whilst out at parties.
With just a little bit of cash with her, April couldn't reach any of her friends and ended up checking into a hotel in town which cost her £84 and ate into most of the money she had taken with her. After the first night, with no money left, she ended up finding a quiet corner of a disused car park and ended up sleeping rough amongst old cardboard.
During the episode, we also learned about the young woman that was found with a stab wound. Her name was Bex and she had befriended April. However, in tragic scenes, when another guy came past and stole April's purse, Bex ran after him.
