Emmerdale fans are convinced they know who picked up April Windsor before she went missing - and it was a former Dales icon.
Teenager April (Amelia Flanagan) went missing from the famous village back on Christmas Day, following a row with her dad Marlon (Mark Charnock). She was last seen getting in a strange car driven by a mysterious individual.
And this week, the soap aired a special episode that focused on everything she had been through since fleeing the Dales. After getting picked up in a car by an unseen person, she ended up in Leeds city centre.
Soon enough, she managed to befriend a group of homeless people including Dylan (Fred Kettle) and Becca (Becca Ashton) - who took April under their wing and let her stop with them in a derelict building.
Throughout the episode, viewers got to see what April - who turned out to be pregnant - endured while sleeping rough - including witnessing the stabbing of Becca who chased after a thief who took their money.
However, while many questions have been answered about April's disappearance, viewers are still stumped over who it was that picked up April when she first fled the Dales.
But now, other fans have 'worked out' who it was - and it's a former village resident. Writing on an Emmerdale Facebook fan page, one person wrote: "Who was driving the car that picked April up then?"
