British acting legend Susan Hampshire has revealed that she was targeted on the London Underground in a terrifying theft.

She recently shared that while travelling on public transport in the English capital, a thief stole a couple of essential items from her bag.

'I was mugged on the Underground the other day,' she said while attending a Talking Pictures event in the city.

She continued, according to the Mail : 'I wish I'd put my money in my bra because I lost my phone and my purse.'

In a new report, Transport for London has revealed which routes on the Underground are the most likely to be impacted by crime .

There were also 1,128 recorded incidents on the Piccadilly Line, 1,097 on the Victoria Line and 1,036 on the Jubilee Line.
