In scenes that aired this evening, Ruby confessed to Chas that her husband might not be Steph's dad, leading fans to speculate that Anthony could actually be the real father of Steph, who has no idea what her grandfather is like.

When she joined the ITV soap, Ruby actress Beth Cordingley revealed if she was anything like her character.
⁘I genuinely have been so lucky. I have been blown away by how gorgeous everyone is. It's a really happy atmosphere on set and it's also incredibly seductive as it makes you never want to leave.⁘
Teasing what was coming up, she added: ⁘That's the best thing about being an actress. I don't have to make the decisions. It would be great though if she stays with Caleb. And I'd love her to carry on making trouble. Being nice is boring.⁘
