Posting to Instagram Elle said: ''First half marathon, completed it mate. SO proud to have completed my first ever half marathon at @mcrhalf !!! what an amazing day''
The caption continued: ''And to make it EVEN better me and my sister have managed to raise over £700 for Wigan MS Therapy centre. A really deserving, small charity who help people affected by MS @wiganmstherapy.''
In the series of images Elle can be seen at the marathon and following the marathon with a big smile and medal in hand. Proud co-stars were quick to praise the 22-year-old actress.

Toyah Battersby star Georgia Taylor praised Elle describing her as an ''absolute rock star'' and Liverpool-born actress Stephanie Davis commented: ''Well in beautiful''.
Elle, who plays Amy Barlow, has grown up in front of viewers' eyes having joined the ITV soap in 2010. The actress recently celebrated her 22nd birthday when she shared images of herself ready for her party, looking glamorous with hair and makeup done.
A number of Coronation Street stars took to social media to share images of their co-star's birthday party including Lauren Bolton actress Cait Fitton and Sydney Martin who plays Betsy Swain.
