Making his first appearance in Walford in October 2019, Jagvir ⁘Jags⁘ Singh Panesar was portrayed by actor Amar Adatia and first arrived in the Square with Kheerat when the pair decided to confront Ben Mitchell for stealing the latter's car. After kidnapping Lola Pearce and being scolded by Kheerat over his behaviour, Jags became a favourite among fans as he called out his own mother Suki, standing up to her by criticising his family's ways of making money.
