A Coronation Street star has told fans he's now a ⁘young dad⁘ in huge news away from the soap. Luca Toolan, who plays the notorious bully Mason Radcliffe, made his debut in 2023 and quickly became a central figure in the drama of the cobbles.

In the meantime, Stu Carpenter (Bill Fellows) has shown sympathy for Mason, securing him a job at his restaurant and insisting that Mason is attempting to change his ways, reports the Mirror .

He revealed on his TikTok account that he has welcomed a new addition to his family. Alongside an image of him in a university lecture hall, Luca penned: ⁘Finding out I was going to be a young dad was scary.⁘

Accompanying the second photo, which showed him outdoors with a dog snuggled in a harness, he added: ⁘But being a dog dad wasn't scary it's amazing.⁘

Luca then shared a snap of the cute pup, urging his followers with the caption: ⁘Give me name some suggestions,⁘ and his fans didnt waste any time jumping into the conversation.
