Emmerdale devotees have spotted a considerable gaffe during the soap's thrilling barn fire episode.

In nail-biting scenes this week, Moira Dingle, portrayed by Natalie J. Robb, accidentally triggered a devastating blaze in one of her barns, endangering several popular characters' lives.

The bullet caused a spark that ignited tractor fuel spread on the ground, propelling the barn into flames.

Ruby's attempt to disarm Moira resulted in her own unconsciousness. Meanwhile, a disoriented Moira, upon regaining consciousness and realising the chaos, frantically tried to rouse Ruby, reports the Manchester Evening News .

Smoke billowing from the barn soon signaled danger to Moiras brother Mackenzie (Lawrence Robb), who was close by in a field. Acting swiftly, he hopped onto his quad bike and sped to the scene.

Upon arrival, Mackenzie was joined by John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth), who was equally shocked at the sight. Their efforts to penetrate the blazing barn were futile, leading John to instruct Mack to alert emergency services and their family while he tried to smash through the door to rescue Moira and Ruby.
