Corrie fans have been up in arms over the recent decisions by ITV bosses and have accused the show of being in crisis.
One wrote on Digital Spy 's forum: 'What the hell is going on at Corrie?! It's crisis after crisis. I really feel for Helen as she deserves nothing but an amazing and fitting exit which is looking very unlikely.'
While another described the soap as a 'mess' and asked: 'What is going on behind the scenes at Corrie?'

A third person was furious and said: 'Heads are going to roll for this if true. This will cause a heck of a lot of trouble. They had better get on the front foot and fast with this before it damages the entire thing.'
Fans are losing patience with the soap after writers reportedly replaced axed Sean with former star John Thomson in a 'frantic rewrite'.
