As for Ste's reaction when he gets out of jail time due to a legal technicality, the actor shared: ⁘It's massively unexpected. It's a shock for him that he gets off, the words the judge uses are that it's an 'unsafe case', so Ste comes out completely bemused and confused at what's going on.
Richardson went on to reveal that Ste runs straight to Warren because ⁘he doesn't understand what's going on,⁘ before learning who was behind his release.
⁘As he's leaving the club he's met by this big, scary henchman who gives him a burner phone, which goes off with a text message saying: 'I own you now - Blue'.
⁘Ste puts two and two together and realises that this Blue, whoever they are, is the reason why he's got off. Then the story starts - who is Blue? What do they want?⁘
