During a recent Emmerdale press event, when asked if Charity's relationship with Mack is going well, Emma replied: "Yeah, probably that's why we haven't been doing much stuff because we're on an even keel.
"It's quite good, it's comfortable and steady. It's quite functional which is unheard for Charity but it's allowed us all to have a bit of a breather.
"In fact, we've been blessed with two years of awesome and consistent storylines so I think we're just doing our own thing. Mack is doing a lot with Aaron [Dingle, played by Danny Miller] so it's been good to do some Dingle stuff."
