Here's Why It's Unlikely That Sunnova Energy International Inc.'s (NYSE:NOVA)
The results at Sunnova Energy International Inc. ( NYSE:NOVA ) have been quite disappointing recently and CEO John Berger bears some responsibility for this. At the upcoming AGM on 15th of May, shareholders can hear from the board including their plans for turning around performance. They will also get a chance to influence managerial decision-making through voting on resolutions such as executive remuneration, which may impact firm value in the future. From our analysis, we think CEO compensation may need a review in light of the recent performance.
At the time of writing, our data shows that Sunnova Energy International Inc. has a market capitalization of US$548m, and reported total annual CEO compensation of US$5.9m for the year to December 2023. We note that's an increase of 9.5% above last year. We think total compensation is more important but our data shows that the CEO salary is lower, at US$621k.

"To the people behind the camera – thank you. I don't think you'll ever get enough credit for how hard you work and the amount of time you dedicate but please know it doesn't go unnoticed. The resilience that has been shown especially under recent circumstances is something else.
