Hollyoaks' Lucas Hay will meet with an online stranger following his romantic setback with Dillon Ray.
Lucas has been involved in the ongoing conversion therapy storyline , which has seen school headteacher Carter Shepherd manipulate the student into denying his own sexuality.
This has led to friction with Dillon as he shunned his friend at school, and next week's scenes will see their relationship move to the next stage as Lucas gains confidence.
After drinking, Lucas gets some Dutch courage as he leans in for a kiss after complimenting Dillon on his looks, but doesn't get his wish as Dillon rejects him.
Lucas' week spirals from this point onwards having already lied about his age when speaking to a stranger online, with the youngster subsequently meeting him at The Loft. The date doesn't go too well so Lucas turns to Carter for help, leaving several voicemails on his phone before the headteacher eventually picks him up.
Will this spell the end for the pair's complicated friendship? Or will they eventually be able to resolve their feelings for each other?
