Coronation Street revealed an apparent offscreen exit from the ITV soap on Monday night, as one character announced another was leaving.
Days on from a brutal attack leading to blackmail, a Weatherfield resident announced the departure of a character while it wasn't shown on screen. Sarah Platt told her brother David Platt that villain Nathan Curtis was gone for good.
The show has not announced the departure, but Sarah seemed fairly certain the character was gone. Of course what she didn't initially tell David was the true reason she knew he would possibly be heading off.
Sarah wanted Nathan gone after his recent return as did others including Gary and David, leading to Gary's attack. But Nathan blackmailed Sarah over the incident, leading to Gary paying him off with £10,000 but he was told he needed to leave for good and could not return.
