One of the UK's leading seaside resorts, Brighton is also one of the country's most overcrowded tourist destinations. House prices have risen by nearly 20 percent since 2022 in Brighton while the city also has over 4,000 holiday rentals.
Another seaside destination, Bournemouth is one of the UK's most overcrowded hospots. House prices have risen by more than 50 percent since 2022. Perhaps it's no surprise that this beach hotspot is considering introducing a tourist tax.
