During Wednesday's visit to Weatherfield, viewers saw upsetting scenes as Toyah Battersby opened up about a secret from her past she had never told anyone. After he recent outburst sparked concern, Toyah broke down and confided in brother-in-law Nick Tilsley about why she lashed out.
As Toyah sobbed, Nick was in disbelief over the news that she had kept from everyone including her sister Leanne Battersby, Nick's partner, for decades. Nick asked why she didn't tell anyone, and she revealed she just could not find the words to tell anyone what had happened.
