In a bid to make things right, Lucas called over to see John Paul at the McQueen residence, apologising for his homophobia.
Lucas was quick to try and dispel such a notion but he did open up, claiming that the catalyst for his behaviour was the fact that Dillon had told him how he felt about him.
Lucas struggled to hide his smile as he described all the wonderful things he liked about Dillon, with John Paul starting to put two and two together – realising that Lucas also has feelings for Dillon.
Enraged, Carter arranged a meeting with Lucas, having a go at him for speaking to John Paul. Lucas, however, made it quite clear that he was playing John Paul, revealing that he managed to obtain information on the ins and outs of Pride, suggesting that they sabotage the event .
