Leave it to Hailey Bieber to crown spring's hottest new footwear trend. Since January, the model and beauty mogul has stepped out in not one, but two pairs of statement red shoes: Jil Sander's pointed-toe slingbacks and The Row's polished penny loafers .
While we're no stranger to the hero hue – it was everywhere last season – red footwear has become the latest iteration of the " pop of red " styling trick, and they're poised to take the street-style scene by storm. If you're in need of further proof, red shoes were also spotted all over the autumn/winter 2024 runways, most notably at Proenza Schouler, Ferragamo and Fforme. One thing's for sure: if you're not wearing red shoes yet, you certainly will be soon.
