Ex-Emmerdale Actress Releases Song She Played To Her Beloved Mum In Her Final Days

'Thank You Mother' was written by an Irish songwriter called John Hurley and Amy was first introduced to the song in her early twenties, when she was asked to perform it for Gloria Hunniford.

The song is a tribute to her mother after Amy, who attended Bury Grammar School, became her full-time carer alongside her sister and dad.

Those who knew her described her as a 'kind', 'talented', and 'wonderful' person, who was a friend to many.
