Speaking in January, Emmerdale 's executive producer Jane Hudson confirmed that 2023 will be a big year for local vicar Charles.

Charlotte, 49, has starred as Laurel or over 20 years with her first appearance on the show being in 2002.
Her character Laurel previously worked in a sweet factory and Charlotte wanted to see the workers become addicted to gambling.
