Idris Elba says he auditioned for BBC EastEnders – but then turned down the role. The Luther star opened up about turning down an EastEnders role while chatting to Roman Kemp on Capital FM today.
The Wire actor Idris admitted: "I mean I've auditioned for a lot, many, many, many, many things but I've got them all. I got offered a role in EastEnders once that I didn't take.. I don't know what role it was but yeah my mum was like 'why did you not take it?'
