UK: Climate activists to demonstrate in London Feb. 21 | Crisis24

Climate activists led by the Extinction Rebellion (XR) group plan to demonstrate on Lime Street in central London on Feb. 21. The purpose of the action is to demand insurance companies refuse to insure the East Africa Crude Oil Pipeline.

Authorities and local businesses will implement additional security measures in the area to monitor the demonstration. The action itself and related security measures will likely result in localized business and transport disruptions.
