One character who has rarely ever been mentioned since leaving the soap in 1989 is D.I. Bob Ashley, who was played by actor Robin McCallum between 1988 and 1989. At the time the actor was a member of the EastEnders cast, he was known by the name of Robin Lermitte.
More recently, Robin was seen playing the role of a headteacher in Humans, and in 2021 he appeared in a series called Intergalactic. But it isn't his acting that Robin is best remembered for.

The two shows, which normally air at 7.30 pm and 8 pm respectively, are in conflict with the FA Cup match.
