Hollyoaks in 2023 will see new faces, flings and fears in the village, the new trailer for the soap reveals.
In the trailer, Eric, played by Shadow And Bone actor Angus Castle-Doughty, is seen taking Maxine captive and holding a crossbow in The Dog at his sister Verity's wake.

Hollyoaks star Emily Burnett addresses exit from Olivia Bradshaw role
Burnett posted a series of photos alongside a caption in which she thanked the show and everyone involved.
"This week Olivia Bradshaw left the @hollyoaksofficial village. The 18 months I had playing this role is a time I will treasure forever," Burnett wrote.
