WASHINGTON — British celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay opened his fine dining restaurant based on his hit TV series Hell's Kitchen in D.C. over the weekend.
The restaurant is located at the Wharf in Southwest D.C., a 14,000 square feet two-story space that provides views overlooking the Potomac River. Its design should be recognizable to fans of the TV show with dining room, patio, or terrace seating.

Alan Cumming is returning the OBE he was awarded in 2009. In a message he has posted on Instagram on his 58th birthday, the Scottish actor says he had recently "opened his eyes" to the "toxicity" of the British Empire.
At the time of receiving his OBE Cumming had said in a statement: "I see this honour as encouragement to go on fighting for what I believe is right and for what I take for granted as a UK citizen.
