Paddy Dingle (Dominic Brunt) was left heartbroken in tonight's Emmerdale (15th December) after wife Chas's (Lucy Pargeter) affair was finally exposed .
And she was getting away with it until her cousin Belle (Eden-Taylor Draper) found out the extent of Chas's lies. Soon after, Paddy drove Chas out of the village for a break away, and she was relieved to be avoiding Belle before she could reveal the truth.

In Thursday's (December 15) double bill, Chas was actually in quite a chipper mood — noticed by Charity and Bear — as she was whisked off for a weekend away with Paddy.
