EastEnders fans have been speculating about who Janine's mystery 'Steve' is - with some hoping for an iconic character to return. The Walford schemer, played by Charlie Brooks, is pregnant with beau Mick Carter's (Danny Dyer) baby.
In last night's episode, we saw Mick's mother overhear Janine on the phone to a mystery man called Steve. She later listened through the door as Janine broke the news to daughter Scarlett (Tabitha Byron) that they will be moving out of the Vic.

EastEnders fans are calling for one character's permanent return after they briefly featured on the show. Little Mo, played by Kacey Ainsworth, called her son Freddie in last night's episode (December 19), and viewers were reminded of the character's impact.
After the phone call in last night's show, viewers tweeted their desire for Little Mo's return. One person wrote: "Good to see Little Mo ringing Freddie. I hope she comes back next year. #EastEnders."

Bobby joined the EastEnders cast as the son of Graham Foster and Little Mo Slater in September this year. This is the teens first acting role and is otherwise known as the late Jade Goody's eldest son with Jeff Brazier.
