Hollyoaks star Harvey Virdi has revealed that Misbah Maalik will go from 'strength to strength', despite rapist Ali Shahzad (Raji James) having been acquitted in court .
The doctor, as viewers know, bravely opened up last year, revealing that Ali had raped her, and subsequent scenes saw her report him to the police for the crime.

The actress, who plays Grace Black in the Channel 4 soap, took to Instagram yesterday (June 29) to rubbish the rumours.
"I'm very comfortable in my own skin as I have a fiancé who adores me and makes me feel sexy no matter what size I am."
Fans flooded the comments with both outrage and support for Wall, including her Hollyoaks co-star Nikki Sanderson who wrote: "Wow! How anyone thinks that this is ok to write is beyond me?! It's so disrespectful. You are truly gorgeous inside and out."
Hollyoaks stars expecting another child together
Taking to Instagram to share her happy news with fans, Cooper posted a photo of herself showing off her growing bump to her son.
"Exactly 12 months later and after 40 hours of labour with an emergency C-Section, Ocean-Torin was born.
The couple met each other on the set of Hollyoaks , but both eventually left the soap in 2013 and got married two years later.

Stephanie , 29, told fans she had ripped her skin from scratching and the sore rash has left her in agony.
"So you've all been asking me for updates on my skin but I've not really wanted to share what a look like with you all because it's so bad - I've put a filter on now because I feel so embarrassed and I'm hiding away really," Stephanie said.
