It's becoming clear that David Metcalfe (Matthew Wolfenden) is having money worries on Emmerdale. The village shop that bears his name isn't doing as well as he would like and money is getting tight.

Sarah, meanwhile, realises that her family has forgotten about her birthday and is disappointed at being constantly overshadowed by Noah and his endless problems.

Liam is concerned when Leyla's behaviour at home seems to be jittery and strange. What he doesn't know is that her cocaine habit has started becoming such a problem that she's now having to take a line first thing, even before breakfast, just to get her day going.
Leyla takes these warnings seriously and washes the rest of her cocaine down the sink. She tries to act normally when Jacob (Joe-Warren Plant) later arrives at Tenants wanting to talk about university, but Liam notices that once again she's acting strangely.

But Liam notices her out-of-character behaviour and starts to suspect that Leyla is experiencing PTSD.
Will has taken £3,000 from the haulage firm accounts to pay Mike for the results of the DNA test. Kim finds the money in Will's bag and the haulage accounts open on his laptop. Is she going to find out the truth about Jamie's fate?
