Coronation Street's eagle-eyed viewers are back at it again as they spotted a 'huge continuity error' during the soap's latest scenes. During Monday night's trip to the cobbles, Gary Windass paid a visit to Rick Neelan's house.

Now, Gary is trying to stay true to his word and has gone about sorting Rick's former house which has been left to Kelly - alongside all his money. But while there with builders Ed Bailey and Paul Foreman, they found a holdall containing £17,000 in cash under the floorboards.

Catherine Tyldesley has announced the birth of her baby girl. The former Coronation Street shared the news on Instagram on Thursday (April 21) alongside an adorable first photo.

The actress, best known for playing Eva Price in the ITV soap from 2011 to 2018, announced the joyous news that she was expecting her second child with husband Tom Pitfield back in October.

When best time is to see Lyrid meteor shower as it peaks this week - Manchester Evening News

While the meteor shower originally began on April 14, it will be reaching its peak on April 22 to 23 and will be clearly visible all across the UK. If hopeful stargazers want to catch a glimpse of the showers then the peak time would be during the early morning.

The Lyrid meteor shower is the product of leftover debris from Comet Thatcher which occurs every year around mid to late April, as the Earth passes through the debris they burn up and light up the sky. They are also named after the constellation of Lyra, which features the Vega star.
