'Emmerdale' unveils 50th birthday logo and promises big celebratory plans
The ITV soap is celebrating 50 years on air and showed off a 50th birthday logo on Tuesday, sharing it with the caption: "Our birthday year has begun! Watch out for lots of exciting things happening later in the year, but for now we're excited to reveal our birthday logo."
Known as Emmerdale Farm until 1989, the soap has featured some shocking storylines over the years, the most famous being the Emmerdale plane crash in 1993 which drew comparisons to the Lockerbie bombing.
