He added: "I think there was a friend of mine the other day who's an avid fan and I spoke to him, and he kind of said, 'well those lockdown episodes were terrible because now it's just gone back to normal'.
"But I think what happened was as we went into lockdown we'd kind of half done a set of episodes and then they stopped them.

In the episode, Fletcher reunited with old Emmerdale castmates Danny Miller and Adam Thomas, who popped in to pay him a visit.
The former co-stars were given a tour around the farm and were even asked to help feed Fletcher's rare breed pigs.
"I'm taken by you," added Miller. "I'm in awe of you at the moment. The pigs I can take or leave... I mean they're very cute."
