BBC Eastenders star Danny Dyer breaks silence on mental health battle | Chard & Ilminster News

The Eastenders actor has been Queen Vic landlord Mick Carter since he first arrived on the BBC soap in 2013.

Before that he was known for playing hardman roles in films including Football Factory and The Business.

The 44-year-old actor who recently announced he will be leaving Eastenders, was speaking on the latest instalment of the Sorted with the Dyers podcast.

Danny Dyer has confessed he might not succeed when he steps away from Albert Square, calling his decision to quit EastEnders a gamble.

"When you're in a job like a soap your contract comes up for renewal and every time it has they've asked me to stay, and I'm very grateful for that. Because I've seen a lot of people come and go. It's very tough."

BBC Dragon's Den star Deborah Meaden supported by fans as she shares worrying news about her cat -

The 63-year-old businesswoman said she really wanted to see her pet - who is ironically named Storm - soon after he wa gone missing in Storm Eunice.

"Bit worried about my cat…ironically called Storm and didn't come in last night," Deborah tweeted earlier.

The lunchtime radio host is now recovering from a nasty black eye and having second thoughts about using vintage bikes after the impact shattered his glasses and put him in A&E.

A picture of Jeremy's bruised eye was also revealed on the Channel 5 current affairs show. He's spoken before about how the penny farthing can be a very difficult bike to control. "The one thing is, there aren't really any brakes so you need to step off it to stop.
